Field Trip to the Tunbridge Fair

We had the best time on our first field trip to the Tunbridge Fair! We saw a pig race, cattle, a vegetable growing contest, demonstrations from the 1800's, and more. We got to sample maple cotton candy, fresh apple cider and got chocolate milk at the grandstand for lunch!

SmartBoards, Chrome Books, and iPads, oh my!

Since day 1 of 2nd grade the students have been begging me to use technology! Throughout last week we discussed usernames, passwords, and how to access all of our school technology. We talked about Internet safety and tech rules. We reviewed all of the learning resources we can use on the Chrome Books, SmartBoard and iPads. I am already amazed by how quickly they have caught on to using our classroom technology devices.
